Study of reports concerning costs involved in stopping trains, developed by Committee on Economics of Railway Signaling of Signal Section, AAR; curves and equations in reports make possible determination of power dissipated, in terms of horsepower hours of work, which reduces calculations involved, as compared with formula and data used previously.
