Valentinian, of 90,081 tons dw on draft of 47 ft 4 1/8 in., is first of six tankers ordered by Hilmar Reksten from different yards and was built by A.G.Weser; length oa 837 ft, molded breadth 127 ft, molded depth 62 ft 10 in.; there are only four groups of triple tanks; set of General Electric (United States) geared turbines produces normal and maximum outputs of 20,455 shp at 100.8 and 22, 500 shp at 104 rpm.
