Illustrated description of liquid cooled AM.34, based on references contained in book Aero-Engines -- Design and Detail Calculations, edited by A. E. ZAIKIN, published in 1941 by State Publishing House of Defence Industry; engine was later developed to include supercharger, reduction gear and VP airplane propeller; according to German periodical Flugsport, two later models have been developed, AM.38 and AM.35, intended for low and high altitude work respectively.
