Illustrated description of 6800-bhp 6-cyl engine driven by three lever-driven scavenge pumps, built by Swan, Hunter and Wigham Richardson, for high powered single crew vessel being constructed by builders for Port Line; engine has cylinders 670 mm in diam with combined stroke of 2320 mm, is capable of developing 6600 bhp at 115/116 rpm and has overload capacity of 10% for several hours.
