Illustrated description of third and latest version of this locomotive, which retains larger cylinders and taper boiler, introduced by W. STANIER, together with all other improvements; main change is in length of coupled wheelbase, which has been reduced from 16 ft 6 in. to 15 ft 4 in., to enable engines to negotiate 5-chain curves occurring in certain stations, docks, and sidings.
