15,000-ton Esso Nyborg built by Burmeister and Wain, Copenhagen; length bp 470 ft; beam 65 ft 2 in.; depth to upper deck 35 ft 4 in.; propelled by two Burmeister and Wain single acting, 7-cyl, 2-stroke trunk piston Diesel engines with cyl diam of 500 mm and stroke of 900 mm, developing 4600 bhp at 150 to 155 rpm.
