Use of contract trucks instead of company operated locomotives and cars are more economical and efficient in disposal of breaker refuse at preparation plants operated by Lehigh Navigation Coal Co; greater flexibility in meeting peak demands for service, and greater dumping capacity in available area due to ability of trucks to negotiate steeper grades.
