In jet and rocket engines in aircraft and guided missiles sound intensities are sufficiently high to affect adversely reliability of components, particularly vacuum tubes; features of high intensity noise chamber which tests electron tubes, relays and other parts for jet aircraft and guided missiles; value of tests in producing components to withstand high levels of acoustical noise.
