To investigate causes of accidents occurring during agricultural flying, critical situations under operating conditions are determined; mathematical problem is set up to describe climb and turn maneuver during procedure turn; model is applicable to aircraft maneuvers in general; criterion for comparing different maneuvers is excess of flight velocity over stalling velocity at fixed altitude; numerical results are given for Piper PA-18A aircraft and limitations of its maneuverability.
