Principles concerning human factors in evacuation of aircraft following survivable accidents; summary and evaluation of evacuation tests through Dec 1963; human factors data resulting from tests conducted between July 1963 and Feb 1964 in CARI's indoor ditching pool, and at Lake Tenkiller in Eastern Oklahoma; land tests conducted using new escape devices, including "Telescape" device; results indicate desirability of changes in crew emergency evacuation training and passenger briefing practices, improved personal survival equipment and 25-g seats incorporating impact protection mechanisms.
