Most serious limitation in 1961 Tempest concept was in body-frame integral construction; 1964 model has separate swept hip perimeter frame type of chassis with all new front suspension geometry of "big car" design, 4-link rear suspension, smooth 215-cu in. in-line 6-cyl engine, and 115-in. wheelbase; details of suspension systems; engine develops 140 bhp at 4200 rpm and 206 ft-lb of torque at 2000 rpm with single carburetor operating on regular fuel; specifications and data of optional engines and automatic transmissions; body and frame construction; body corrosion protection; Tempest test results.
