Coaches incorporating new features in passenger accommodation will operate on "Talisman" King's Cross to Edinburgh service of British Railways during summer of 1964; coaches now forming Project X P64 consist of three second class open saloons and two compartment coaches, and three first class compartment coaches; bodies are of standard shell and underframe pattern, but future vehicles will be of integral construction; features of different units are described, and include automatic heating and ventilating unit mounted on each vehicle underframe, seats of glass fiber construction, wide entrances on each side, etc.
