Mar Engr and Naval Architect v 87 n 1055 Feb 1964 p 78-80. On Hengelo testbed of G.Stork and Co, 6-cyl 850-mm bore Stork engine, with maximum continuous rating of 16,000 bhp, was adjusted for running up to 18,000 bhp; maximum values were 11.8 kg/sq cm mep, 335 C and 76 kg/sq cm pressure; engine is for 12,500 ton cargo vessel Koudekerk, and is basically same as prototype unit fitted in Neder Rijn; important modification is in reversing gear, and features of this system are noted.
