Analysis is made of factors which influence selection of equipment by contractors working overseas; nature and size of job, availability of equipment, of parts and service, and final disposition of equipment are some of basic guidelines determining type of equipment to be used; it is recommended that equipment manufacturers not sell equipment overseas until it is proved in field and it is standardized model with adequate availability of parts in foreign country.
