Research on dynamic behavior of roads under moving vehicles includes investigation of additional loading applied to road by passage of heavy commercial vehicles over surface irregularities; computer programs, written for ICT "Atlas" computer, for study of dynamic loading are described; test vehicle is simulated by assuming that springs and tires have linear load-deflection characteristics, damping of vehicle suspension may be represented by combination of coulomb and viscous friction, there is negligible tire damping, and rolling motion is ignored.
