Dynamic stability of elastic structure in controlled flight at supersonic velocity; transverse vibrations are studied by using elastic vibration equations of one-dimensional body; aerodynamic forces acting upon elastic system are written according to A.A.Il'yushin's piston theory (1956); dynamic stability regions of elastic structure are obtained as functions of system's parameters; it is found that stability limit corresponds to critical velocities of flutter.
