Results of experiments in waves with 34 models of practical ship designs with block coefficients from 0.55 to 0.88, in form of estimates of significant pitch and heave and mean power increase in irregular head waves, for ranges of Beaufort Numbers from 5 to 8, and of ship length from 400 to 1000 ft; these results are analyzed to evaluate variation of pitch, heave and power increase with principal dimensions (length, breadth and draft), two form factors (block and waterplane area coefficient), weight distribution (longitudinal position of center of buoyancy and longitudinal radius of gyration) and speed.
