Development of Bendix Corp's Automatic Electronics Test Facility, employing five AN/GJQ-9 programmer-comparators and peripheral equipment; AN/GJQ-9 is punched tape controlled automatic programming, measurement, and control device; accuracy of basic measurements is shown in table; description of automatic fault isolation system; new approach towards automated factory testing will be initiated in 1969 with 200 Automatic Test Equipment; concept is based on complete commonality of test equipment, test tapes, and troubleshooting techniques between factory, aircraft manufacturer, and airline maintenance shop; system will test in automatic, semiautomatic, or manual mode; M-260 language used is adapted ATLAS (Abbreviated Test Language for Avionics Systems).
