Navigation-guidance system of Lunar Module (LM) spacecraft includes doppler radar system used in lunar-landing phase; to study performance of radar system and its interaction with navigation system, control system, trajectory, and guidance law, mathematical model of radar system was constructed and integrated with LM system mathematical models; this produced dynamic simulation that was " flown" over many varied trajectories; analysis and results show that there is accuracy specification compliance and that radar system effectively copes with errors of associated systems.
