Research reports results of study concerned with development of model that can be used to predict recreational trips to new reservoirs in Indiana; model utilizes only road distance, county population, and influence of other similar facilities as parameters affecting attendance; technique was developed illustrating how model can be used to predict future attendance and traffic volumes; prediction model was developed by using nonlinear regression analysis.
