Electrification of Belgian section of Brussels-Paris railway line; because 3000-v and 1500-v d-c is used on Belgian side, and 25-kv 50 cycle single-phase a-c on French side, type BB-150 tricurrent locomotives are used; principal characteristics of their drive, controls, and auxiliary systems are given; construction of catenaries, substations, signal systems, and transfer station permitting uninterrupted passage of trains from Belgian electrical system to French system is described.
