Aircraft utilization, weather and cost data for 3 separate projects north of 60th parallel in Northwest Territories and Yukon Territory; these operations, carried out by helicopter-equipped geological and prospecting parties, have cost 24 to 30 dollars/sq mi, depending principally on distance from base; they provide adequate surface exploration of areas with 40-50% rock outcrop; good one-inch-to-one-mile geological map can be made.
