Ilmatar, for service between Sweden and Finland, was built for Finska Line at Sandvikens shipyard in Helsinki, and is fitted with Wartsila-Sulzer engine of 4500 bhp at 320 rpm; length oa 355 ft 3 in., molded breadth 53 ft 10 in., mean draft 15 ft 5 in., gross 5100 tons; space is provided for 332 passengers in cabins, 1068 unberthed, for 50 cars and 10 tons of mail; plans.
