First 2 of series of 1620-ton dw vessels are general/bulk cargo carrier Sagatun, built for Hovding Skipsopphugging (Einar Hovding), of Oslo, by Hungarian Shipyard and Crane Factory, Budapest, and sistership Sagastrand, which is described; length oa 74.24 m, breadth molded 11.30 m, depth 5.30 m, draft 4.65 m, grain cargo capacity 2176 cu m and bale 2092 cu m; 4-stroke engine of Hungarian Lang design is rated 1000 bhp at 400 rpm.
