de Havilland Beaver is to be all metal, high wing, semicantilever monoplane with all up weight of 4400 to 4500 lb for operation on wheels, floats or skis; power will consist of Pratt and Whitney Wasp Junior engine (450 hp for take off); span 48 ft; length 32 ft 4 in. for seaplane, 30 ft 3 in. for landplane; height 10 ft 10 in. seaplane, 8 ft 7 in. landplane.
