Results of investigation conducted on ground-to-aircraft transmission for airport traffic control service employing ultra-high frequencies in band 129 to 132 mc; complete transmitting stations were installed at LaGuardia and Floyd Bennett airports in New York City and at Municipal Airport in Philadelphia; ground stations and aircraft equipment are described and illustrated and results of flight tests discussed.
