Slip couplings, designed as flexible power transmission link between Diesel engines and gear driving propeller shaft of ship, manufactured by Asea, Vaesteraes, Sweden; during war, improvements were made in construction and standardizing components of couplings on basis of experience already gained; practical results of work are summarized.
