Streamliners, new "Empire Builders," built by Pullman-Standard Car Mfg Co, for Great Northern, and Chicago, Burlington and Quincy, are in regular daily service between Chicago, and Seattle -- Portland; equipment includes five 12-car trains drawn by 4000-hp Electro-Motive Diesel locomotives; weights and dimensions; all cars have 4-wheel trucks fitted with Timken roller bearing journals.
