Two electric locomotives, each 360-ton unit, 101 ft long built by General Electric Co, are operating over 73-mi electrified Cascade section between Wenatchee and Skykomish, Wash; designed primarily for heavy mountain service, Class B-D+ D-B, 11,000-v, 25-cycle, single-phase motor generator locomotive has 119,000 lb tractive force at speed as low as 15.75 mph; all weight is on drivers.
