Fleet Air Arm twin screw tender, to be attached to Fleet aircraft carriers, built by James Pollock, Sons and Co.; it can stow one aircraft forward on hatch, and in addition hold can stow several Seafires or similar aircraft; length oa 172 ft 6 in.; breadth molded 30 ft; depth molded 18 ft; propelled by two 8-cyl HR-type direct reversible, 2-stroke scavenge pump Diesel engines with cyl bore of 10 1/2 in. and stroke of 13 1/2 in., each developing 480 bhp at 325 rpm.
