Curves obtained show total increase in weight of optimum designed sheet stiffener compression panel when skin thickness is increased by arbitrary amount; curves are based on data from tests conducted by NACA on 75S-T Y-stiffened panels; method may also be applied to plotting of other sheet stiffener compression panel data.
