Turboprop is outstanding in its ability to get load off ground and in its specific fuel consumption after it gets into air; considering availability of useful sizes, technical and economic advantages and greater flexibility in use of turboprop, it appears reasonable to expect that, in such commercial jet travel as is done after 1955, turboprop engine should play important part.
