New device developed by Stratos, which makes it unnecessary to cut off engine because of generator or alternator failure, will be installed on over ocean Strato-cruisers by Pan American World Airways; disconnect will make it possible for pilots, with flip of switch, to free failing accessory from engine drive and continue flying on all four engines, without fear of fire.
