Investigation undertaken to provide estimates of aerodynamic effects of elastic deformation of wing panels; analysis concerned with aerodynamically efficient wings, that is, tapered swept wings of high aspect ratio with essentially elliptic span load distributions; accelerated flight conditions only are investigated, since longitudinal stability of aircraft has greatest significance in dynamic flight.
