Built by Am Car and Foundry Co for Pennsylvania Railroad, consists of 64-seat, air conditioned diner having length oa of 85 ft; associated unit, also 85 ft long, is kitchen dormitory car consisting of electric kitchen, pantry, and sleeping section; control for all of d-c kitchen apparatus is interlocked with lighting; provision made for utilization of 220-v, 3-phase, 60-cycle standby energy at terminals for operation of a-c kitchen and pantry apparatus.
