Dock, constructed in Great Britain and shipped out, partly assembled, to Lake Nyasa, where it is being erected at new fleet maintenance base, is double sided self docking type, consisting of four pontoons forming lifting portion, and two parallel side walls; pumping machinery, consisting of Diesel generator set, motor, and centrifugal pump, is capable of lifting vessel displacing 450 tons, on mean draft of 8 ft, in 5 hr.
