Description of new methods of interior cleaning; London Transport developed method of blowing out rubbish with air lance, water mist being used to control dust; another method, applied by United Automobile Services Ltd, removes rubbish and dust through passenger door by generation of air flow through bus; air flow is supplemented by cleaner with air lance who walks slowly through bus dislodging paper trapped by seat legs or adhering to floor; once lifted, material is carried away by air stream moving at 1000 to 2000 fpm; details of cleaning unit and operational sequence.
