Analytical study is made of directional stability and control of tractor and fully independent trailer combination traveling at constant forward speed in steady, flat turn; exploratory calculations are performed to determine influence of basic design parameters of trailer on steady-state response and dynamic stability performance; results are presented in form of graphs and discussed with emphasis on identification of relative importance of factors involved.
