During 1936, Division of Equipment Research, Assn of American Railroads, conducted tests on methods of air delivery then in common use on air conditioned passenger cars; since completion of foregoing tests, Burgess Battery Co, Madison, Wis, has offered new method of distribution known as Multi-Vent, by which conditioned air is discharged by cooling coil fan into clerestory plenum chamber; detailed description of this method.
