Four experimental 6-car trains, for high speed subway service, built by Metropolitan-Cammell Carriage and Wagon Co, Birmingham; each train composed of three 2-car units; each car has two Crompton-Parkinson propulsion motors, installed one on each truck; trucks are of all welded construction, with extended bolsters to control side oscillation.
