90-ton locomotive built by Cummins Engine Co, Columbus, Ind, for Fort Worth and Denver City, for switching, transfer and mixed passenger and freight service, is of steeple type construction with operator's cab at center and engine hood at either end; trucks are of integral cast steel frames with double drop equalizers and semi-elliptic leaf springs; powered by two Cummins model VL-12, 4-cycle, 6-cyl Diesel engines, each developing 500 hp at 1000 rpm.
