Diesel mechanical rail car built by Metropolitan-Cammell Carriage and Wagon Co, in conjunction with Metropolitan-Vickers Electrical Co; essential features are one power truck containing engine, transmission and number of auxiliaries, trailing truck, integral all welded body and underframing, multiple unit control, ability to haul trailer, and top speed of 75-80 mph; tare weight over 30 tons; equipped with Ganz 6-cyl, 4-stroke engine, with continuous rating of 240 bhp at 1250 rpm.
