Results of cooperative motion picture study of automotive vehicles in act of passing, made by Bureau of Public Roads, Johns Hopkins University, Commissioner of Motor Vehicles and State Roads Commission of Maryland, showing that passing a vehicle going in same direction makes greatest demand for road width; driver psychology; pavements of 22-ft width are entirely adequate for modern mixed traffic.
