Producer of airplane windshields used same technology for creating variety of markets; developed for windshields, transparent laminate construction that incorporates electrically conductive coating for generation of radiant heat, found application in designing of cradle warmer; it consists of vacuum-formed acrylic bassinet and specialized hood or canopy, latter being formed of three plies; production technique of canopy consists of applying bus bars and conductive coating to outer ply of laminate and then laying it up in sandwich construction that consists of polyvinyl butyral and layer of acrylic, with heating under pressure in autoclave; application of same technology for motor vehicle windshields.
