Illustrated description of "Pacitor" fuel gage developed by Simmonds Aerocessories Ltd, in order to measure contents of fuel tanks of aircraft without use of moving parts, such as floats, in tanks; basic principle employed is to measure capacitance of condensor immersed in fuel as fuel level rises and falls in tank.
