Propeller-wing relationships; it is shown that overall efficiency of wing for pusher is greater than that for tractor since, (1) it results in considerably less drag and allows use of low drag type airfoils without loss of effectiveness; (2) allows slightly greater propulsive efficiency; and (3) allows larger CLmax with power off since wing leading edge is not distorted by nacelles.
