Current correction methods give unsatisfactory results when used to establish standard air performance of modern high speed airplanes; advent of gas turbine jet propelled airplane has further emphasized need for more suitable method; performance correction method suggested allows for effects of Mach Number on airplane, propeller, and engine characteristics.
