Mar: It is pointed out that existing system described is good; it permits satisfactory guidance of air traffic up to densities of from 30 to 40 flights per hr along airway; at 50 to 60 flights per hr, system breaks down completely; in order to handle expected future traffic, existing system of ATC must be drastically revised; planning of better methods, discussed.
