Non-self propelled floating dry dock, ARD-33, built by Dravo Corp; length 448 ft; width 97 ft; height 45 ft; lifting capacity 6000 tons; designed to serve auxiliary or tender type ships and Liberty ships; dry dock has its own water distillation plant, sanitary disposal facilities, and Diesel electric generator sets for light and power; machinery spaces, workships, and crew quarters are contained in 12-ft side walls.
