Method developed by International Nickel Co's Port Colborne, Ont, plant in conjunction with Elwell Parker Electric Co, for transferring metal plates from Canadian to American highway trucks at Buffalo; using low lift platform trucks equipped with auxiliary tilting platform, and with suitable skids and racks for holding plates, transfer time is reduced from 9 man-hr to 9 min for one man.
